Assessment One - Postmodernism Appropriation
In Term one, Year nine created an appropriated painting of Van Gough's Bedroom at Arles, to give a new interpretation or meaning. They were to consider the meaning of the original source and how they might change this by adding, subtracting, and appropriating other images into it while also keeping some identifiable features of the original source.

Assessment Two - Self Portraits
In this assessment students were to explore the qualities of drawing materials used in representing a self portrait, communicating meaning though their work while utilising the subjective frame to do so. Students were to use line, tone, and proportions of the face to create expressive and interesting artworks
Assessment Three - Ceramics
The third assessment of 2016 students were to create a container or vessel from clay, drawing inspiration from the architectural structures of Antonio Gaudi and the nature inspired works of Art Nouveau. The students were to use clay tools to create a variety of appropriate textures, demonstrating sound clay modellig skills.
